Dear Mr. Frankel,
Your store has been selected, at random for an Operations Audit. This letter, then, is a formal notice of intent from Home Office to conduct an audit of all sales receipts, end-of-day reports, payroll logs, and BOLs from the months of April-July 2010.
Joan Blithe, from Home Office, will be visiting Store #598 next Tuesday, August 17, 2010 along with District Manager Sue Sparrows and a manager from Loss Prevention to conduct the audit from 9:00-4:00pm EST. Please schedule a second manager to run the sales floor while the audit is being conducted, as we will need you present the entirety of the audit. Be prepared for a follow-up meeting with Ms. Sparrows following the audit, to review your store’s OP performance.
We hope the audit will go smoothly so we can finish up before 4:00pm. Pre-organization of all operations paperwork will guarantee a faster, less pain-staking auditing process.
If you have any questions about the audit process or what to expect during an audit, call the Audit Hotline at ext. 7648.
