This letter is an example of a Contract Letter- Expedite Payment and includes all of the elements of a perfect Contract Letter- Expedite Payment for you to use. This sample Contract Letter- Expedite Payment can be used as a template for your needs.
Due to unforeseen circumstance, we have to re-negotiate our monthly payment schedule to include a prepayment of June/July in this month’s invoice.
With the cost of lumber rising, we have no choice but to purchase in bulk for the addition, in order to keep the budget tight for construction expense. In the end, this will save you thousands of dollars in materials and the breakdown upon project completion will level out. For now, however, it’s a wise decision to purchase lumber in bulk at a locked rate, rather than wait until August when the rates are expected to rise over 15%.
We’re requesting an expedited payment for June-July in the total of $10,500 for the purchase of lumber plus the regular monthly charges incurred in the month of May of $3,300. We’ll see the savings even out afterwards, once August’s invoice reflects mainly only labor costs.
Please find an attached invoice for the complete total then for May-July, regarding contract# 250768. I will forward you a copy of the receipt for the lumber along with a receipt from us for your payment.
If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to call me at the office. I’ll be there doing payroll and expense report all day Monday.
Thank you in advance.
