On behalf of the University of Cincinnati’s Geology Program, I am pleased to offer you an appointment as a Teaching Assistant. This appointment will be for a term of 6 months beginning August 30,2010 and ending February 25, 2010. Your rate of pay during the 6 month appointment will be $1000/month. Given satisfactory performance both in the TA appointment and academic progress within your current curriculum, this appointment made be renewed for the following academic year, by written notice only.
You are required to report to the Geology Dept. Headquarters for an Introductory Meeting to begin work on August 23, 2010.
Your duties will include 20 hours/week on average of both in-class instruction and T.A. student assistance.
In addition to your monthly stipend, you will be awarded 10 credits of tuition and inclusion in the University of Cincinnati’s Employee Health Care program.
Before official employment with the University of Cincinnati, we need the following documents faxed to our Faculty Office, no later than Friday, August 20, 2010:
* Completed I-9 Form
* Completed W4 Tax Form
